Is Netflix Standard, with adverts, £4.99 any good?

I had Apple TV for a couple of months and binged on Slow Horses, which was great, and watched a bit of Ted Lasso and a few documentaries. I've just cancelled as couldn't see anything else of immediate interest.

Is Netflix worth getting? It's cheap at £4.99.

It's fine. I used to piggy-back off my son's account (no ads), but when Netflix put a stop to that I took the £4.99 package. The ads are infrequent and short.

Yes! We don't find the ads an issue.

I've just started using netflix and haven't seen any adverts yet....👍

It's fine, you don't really notice the ads after a while. They are quite random too - some programmes don't have any!

BorderLove · 12/11/2024 08:34

Yes well worth it. So much to watch and the ads just mean you can put the kettle on / nip to the loo.

You get more and longer ads in the peak times like evenings. But they are still very short, not like ads on ITV or C4. Sometimes you can go for ages without any. I have found they don't bother me.

I love Netflix, lots of fims. Tv shows, stand up.
Nobody wants this and bridgeton are brilliant as are sweet magnolias and friends from college.

There's loads of content.
