Chapelwaite - anyone watched this?

I recorded this as occassionally VM adds random tv series from their more expensive channels to us on the lower rungs!

I had thought it was going to be a family historical drama struggling to make it in the new world.

But now see (after watching the first episode) its based on a Stephen King story.

Is it all just gross horror and shocks or does it have redeeming factors?

I’ve watched all of it. It’s a horror but so clever and dark. Felt very grown up horror. Enjoyed seeing Emily Hampshire in a different role.

Thanks - I am still recording it, so will maybe try a bit harder.

Its not that the "horror" upsets me, but I just sort of sigh, and think this is too silly!

In fact I think the storyline is interesting enough to not be a horror film, so may well watch just to see how the plot develop.s
