Only murders in the building.
Will check out the other suggestions, but what would you recommend next if I loved Only Murders and Agatha All Along?

ohyesido · 03/11/2024 19:44

Modern Family

Only Murders In The Building

Cheesecake53 · 03/11/2024 19:49

Andor.

DeathMetalMum · 03/11/2024 19:52

The Americans

Then all of Bones, then all of criminal minds. You may need to renew your subscription to watch all seasons of both.

DeathMetalMum · 03/11/2024 19:55

Only Murders in the Building is also really good.

I would put The Americans up there with the best things I've ever watched. Possibly top.

JuliaLivilla · 03/11/2024 19:56

I'm not sure if this is available on Disney UK as I don't live there, but Justified is fabulous. Well written, great characters, a good blend of drama and wit. I saw it a couple of years ago on local Disney +, and it's one of the rare series that I think I will rewatch in the near future.

Based on an Elmore Leonard short story, created by Grahame Yost, plus Timothy Olyphant perfectly cast: you can't go wrong.

I had never really had much time for Timothy Olyphant as I mainly remembered him as the priggish, self-righteous sheriff in Deadwood, but this shows he is actually a very competent and versatile actor.

I like the nature documentaries based on Alaska. They are all nuts .

NatalieH2220 · 03/11/2024 20:38

Greys Anatomy
9-1-1
Station 19

Needanadultgapyear · 03/11/2024 20:47

Thisismeant · 03/11/2024 20:49

Get back

IwantToRetire · 03/11/2024 20:50

I find most on Disney a bit bland americanised (not surprising it being Disney!) soapish.

But got offered another 3 months so I am also back on it.

I'm currenlty watching one called Next which is sort of sci fi tech taking over the world. Bringing in lots of current "issues" but strangely undisturbing to watch. But does make you wonder about the future ...

But every now and again there are treasures.

For instance Shogun

I nearly didn't watch it thinking it would be sort of star wars but set in earlier times rather than the future.

How wrong I was.

Well worth a full price sub for a month just to watch that.

VictorianScreenTime · 03/11/2024 20:52

Bluey, obviously.

LegoTherapy · 03/11/2024 20:52

Golden Girls! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

elozabet · 03/11/2024 20:57

Just watched Agatha all Along and enjoyed it, but better if you watch Wanda vision first, if you like a bit of marvel that is.

However also recommend lots already said - only murders, greys anatomy, the bear etc

IwantToRetire · 03/11/2024 21:06

Renegade Nell was "interesting" un an historically unlikely way. But good fun.

If you have read or listened to any of the Shardlake books you will probably find the tv series a bit irritating. But if you haven't, then if you like historical dramas, you might enjoy.

Birdscratch · 03/11/2024 21:16

On the plus side you can now entertain children at the push of a button - you have all the animated Disney films you could ever want or need and Bluey. Also loads of Marvel and Star Wars stuff. It’s pretty good for films, as for tv? The Bear, Only Murders in the Building, Shogun and Shardlake are decent new shows but you can also binge watch multiple series of things you missed the first time round. Things like 24, Homeland, NYPD Blue, Grey’s Anatomy, Arrested Development, This Is Us. I’ve been rewatching the Golden Girls - Betty White was a treasure.

IwantToRetire · 03/11/2024 21:24

Also, if you are someone like me who rarely went to the cinema, and even less now, there are quite a lot of films on there to pick and choose from.

Not all Disney.

stargazerlil · 03/11/2024 21:26

Revenge!
desperate housewives
only murders
they have some good movies better than prime in my opinion. & the adverts are quieter on Disney than on prime.

Pumpkinseason3 · 03/11/2024 21:32

Classic Disney movies, Grey’s Anatomy and Bluey (for me, not my 4yo 😂) 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Those alone are worth the subscription fee IMO. Doesn’t everyone just watch Grey’s from start to end and then repeat? No? Just me 🥲😅

Mainoo72 · 03/11/2024 21:37

Fleishman is in Trouble
The Omen films

PinkArt · 03/11/2024 21:38
