I watched this a few weeks ago. I just felt so angry about the adoptive mum. I know one has to understand her role as a victim to her husband but she was unforgivable.

I don't believe she didn't know what he was doing.

Yeah she was on another level of loyalty. Awful person.
He was obviously very very manipulative but there has to be a point where you have to give that loyalty up.

He admitted it and she still blames the victims.
She clearly turned a blind eye to a lot of things.

I think the daughter was very supportive from what I recall. She was pro treated completely differently.

I don't know how the birth mum did all that. The pain of knowing what her poor girl endured, the guilt one must feel over having been unable to care for her.

It sounds like there was hardly an ounce of joy in the girls short life.

When she tried telling the school but the parents get called in for you to confess in front of them. It blows my mind contemplating the level of abuse that has gone on unchecked like this.
