The garlic task unfortunately reminded DP of my infamous attempt to make garlic soup. Which I wish he would forget. 40 cloves of garlic, the house smelt of garlic, i smelt of garlic despite scrubbing my hands like Lady Macbeth, and yet the soup did not taste of garlic. I genuinely don't know what happened.

Just caught up and sad to see Gail go but it was the right decision. 9pm is too late!

Just for those who missed it. Our Jay won five episodes of Richard Osmans House of Games. Only the second time this has happened. So the man is not only a mensch, a great cook, a musician, a wit, a columnist, a raiser of funds for food charities, a fellow Greg despiser and an all round good egg, but can do quizzes and everything.

sigh.

I might just save up the episodes and binge watch on Friday to avoid the dire I am A Worthy Celeb fest that is CIN.

I don't know, I thought he seemed pretty grumpy on Friday - not saying much but lots of eye rolling. I felt Monica had to keep jumping in with encouraging words.
