Live feed tonight starts 9:00pm. Might get some clues as to who's new Head of House

OP posts:

Just caught up on last night and enjoyed the task. It was quite funny at times. Loved Shegun talking about what his mum would have said to him on a phone call 😂And Lily trying to tell Ali what her girlfriend had said was funny and annoying at the same time. She really should have let someone else do that. She really messed it up. BP was also really annoying screaming and shouting into the phone. What was that about? I just wanted to say 'calm down girl' She totally messed that up too by being so dramatic. She is weird and her constant eye rolling is getting on my nerves. She has definitely got the ick with Nathan. He seems confused as to why she is backing off.

Halloween up next, wonder if there will be a backdoor exit 🤔

THE BIG BROTHER HOUSE TRANSFORMS INTO CAMP BIG BROTHER
For today’s task the results of the challenges the Housemates undertake will decide who is appointed the new Head of House as the Big Brother house is transformed into an American style summer camp. Housemates will become Campmates as they adopt the roles of jocks and cheerleaders.

As the newly named Campmates gather on log stools amidst woodland trees and the fall of autumn leaves, Big Brother says: “Campmates, welcome to Camp Big Brother. Today the great outdoors calls and you’ll be competing in a series of challenges around the campfire to earn your spot as this week’s Head of House. Remember, the Head of House enjoys luxuries, privileges and most importantly immunity from the next eviction.”

Big Brother then invites the Campmates to recite and reenact tales from The Big Brother story book, as they dance and listen to stories around the campfire the tale takes an unexpected turn as Nathan reads an extract which says:

Legend had it that when thirteen unlucky campers gathered at the campfire an evil would be awoken and only one lone survivor would make it out of the camp alive. It was at that moment the curse took over...”

The house is then suddenly lit by a bright red light as the Campmates seem spooked as they gasp in chorale: “Ooooh.”
Nathan continues: “One camper, Ali fell into a trance, controlled by an evil magic they went to collect a skull from the living room hatch.”

As an entranced Ali walks over to await her fate, Nathan says: “In their trance, they started to walk in a circle behind the Campmates. The curse was about to make them stop behind the one Campmate who was not worthy of being Head of House. That unfortunate Campmate was….”

As the Campmatess name is revealed, they remark: “That’s so unfair because I wanted to be Head of House.”
Big Brother continues: “This is Big Brother, welcome to Halloweek.”

What will Big Brother’s camp have in store for the rest of Campmates during a week of Halloween inspired shock twists as other Campmates fall under the spell of Big Brother’s curse?

A SCOUSE BIRD ARRIVES IN THE GARDEN WITH A MESSAGE FOR DEAN
As Dean and Baked Potato unwind in the garden the squawking of a crow travels across the garden.
Dean and Baked Potato head over to find out more, in a Liverpudlian drawl, the bird says: “Ey, youse, I can only speak to one of ya.”

They decide that Dean must take the message as he says: “Hello crow.”
The crow asks: “Right, what’s your name and where d’ya come from?”
Dean responds: “Alright Cilla Black, my names Dean and I’m from East London.”

The crow says: “I’m Claire the crow, it’s Baltic out here init. You’se have had a shocker of a day haven’t ya.”

Claire the crow continues: “Right, let’s get down to business, who do you want to murder? Guess what, you get to tell me the names of two Campmates. I’ll make sure they get eliminated from the game.

Which Campmates will Dean choose taking them out of the running to be the new Head of House?
Later that day as the results are revealed, one of the chosen Campmates remarks: “There are rats amongst us.”

THE NEWLY APPOINTED HEAD OF HOUSE VENTURES INTO BIG BROTHER’S SECRET BASEMENT
As the newly appointed Head of House speaks to Big Brother in the diary room, Big Brother says: “Hello Head of House, becoming the Head of House grants you immunity from eviction and a more luxurious lifestyle but we’re not here to talk about that.”

Big Brother goes on to explain: “It’s time for you to use your power to affect nominations. To discover your power you will need to go to my secret basement. At the top of the stairs to the left of the plant is a hidden door that will only open for the Head of House.”

As the Head of House ventures into the secret lair, Big Brother informs them: “As this is Halloweek, you have become the evil Head of House.”
The Head of House replies: “I’m the least evil person in this house, I’m a f*cking delight Big Brother, why are you making me be evil?”

Big Brother informs them: “As the evil Head of House, you have more power than ever before because. You will not just be affecting nominations, you and you alone, will be making them.”

Who is this week’s evil Head of House and whose fate hangs in the balance under their rule?

Lily's drunken idiocy in saying that Ali's partner supports Segan could potentially have a big impact. That will be on her mind when it comes to nominations and if they have any say in HoH.

She must be pretty confused. You expect your family to have your back and then you find out your mum has bought a red witch hat and is supporting Segan 😂

I was thinking it could have a really weird impact between Ali and Segun and nominations too, but from both sides. On the one hand Ali now thinks Segun must be trustworthy (where she’s concerned) and on the other, Segun might think he’ll look like a villain if he isn’t friendly with Ali, or nominates her.

So Lily’s drunken fuck up could indeed impact the dynamics of the house.

For some strange reason it was all blocked last night and they have started going to sleep at midnight, which is early for BB standards.

Thanks @Aquarius1234 I thought it was a bit odd that there wasn’t anything shown. First time I watched the live feed so I was a bit gutted!

I did see about 5 minutes of live stuff - more or less right after Late & Live. It was Sarah and Khaled on the garden sofas talking about Lily and then about Ali. Mostly Sarah being fed up with Lily and her "look at me" antics re the phone call and her general loudness/selfishness. Also Khaled saying he thought he understood Ali more now but wouldn't forget how awful/unreasonable he felt she had been towards him. Both seemed to indicate that they didn't really trust her. They were interrupted by Martha coming in to go to the smoking area (?) and then they all went inside. Cue birdsong...

ConstantlyFuriosa · 29/10/2024 14:08

That sounds like something Emma would say, I reckon.

ElderPrice · 29/10/2024 14:12

Reading the summary that BakedBeans just posted, I think the new HOH is either BP or Emma.

JaneJeffer · 29/10/2024 14:18

That has to be Lily

I think it’s Baked Potato

ElderPrice · 29/10/2024 14:26

Martha's definitely up for eviction then! 😂

Yeh I watched that. Sarah is always annoyed at Lily and doesn't like Ali much.
Shame they haven't ever had a proper argument lol

Aquarius1234 · 29/10/2024 14:33

Lily's a funny one, I think she intentionally messed up some of that telephone message.
Not all but some.

Yeah I am a bit suspicious. I still want to know who Vivienne is and why she loves Ali unconditionally. I also want to know why Ali didn't think it was weird that her girlfriend loves two strangers unconditionally?? I would be thinking WTF

Dogateahotdog · 29/10/2024 14:40

Didnt she say Vivienne was Ali’s best friend?

Namechangefordaughterevasion · 29/10/2024 14:42

I think some of that was code. It was all so measured and stilted. I think she was carefully repeating prearranged phrases and allowing time for Ali to decode them.

I thought the gf was Vivienne?

Edited

No her best friend apparently.
I thought the whole message was OTT, so was happy Lily was more casual and messed it up.
I had to mute Dean's message, Jesus .

JaneJeffer · 29/10/2024 15:07

The girlfriend is called Cherrelle

ConstantlyFuriosa · 29/10/2024 15:37

I think this has been a pretty good series so far. I was an avid BB watcher back in the day, right from series one and I never missed an episode. I was also addicted to the live feed and online fora discussing all things BB. Then when it ended and restarted on channel 5 without Davina or live feed I gave up on it. I only really came back to it last year (which was also a good series).

I really, really miss proper daily live feed, though. It’s not the same without all of that and you don’t really get to know people’s characters in the same way. I remember all the ‘fans’ years ago being up in arms at things we’d seen on the live feed which revealed certain traits and then this not being reflected in the edit.

Who can forget the days of Aisleeeeen! Fight Night with Victor and Emma, Michelle and Chicken Stew, Marjorie, Pete and Nikki, Kate Lawler, Jade and PJ, etc., etc.

Happy days!

MotsiBallas · 29/10/2024 16:08

Sheesh, Martha has more faces than a town clock. Even Late and Live keep showing how bad she is. If she doesn’t go this week I’ll be shocked.

Lellojello · 29/10/2024 18:10

Good grief I couldn't watch more than a couple of seconds of Dean.

Lily jumping up to answer despite being told no shows how flipping selfish and annoying she is, but it was so worth it for the Shegs mixup - which I found very funny. Will be interesting to see how Shegun and Ali interact going forward.

I agree that it looked as if Ali had been sent straight in to split up Marchello and Lily. Pity Marchello is sleazy because I like him and can see he is a decent person beyond the bravado. Quite good looking too if it wasn't for that Play Mobile hair!

Sarah and Emma are my favourite out of the women. Marchello and Khaled from the men.

As an aside, Emma looks fabulous for 53. I only say that as she is in a house full of people much younger yet among the younger women she holds her own and doesn't stand out like older generations in previous series.

StarSlinger · 29/10/2024 18:12

I'm a bit pissed off with them messing with nominations so much. The whole point of BB to me is seeing who nominates who.

AhBiscuits · 29/10/2024 18:13

ConstantlyFuriosa · 29/10/2024 14:08

Yes maybe, although I could picture Marcello saying it too.

dapsnotplimsolls · 29/10/2024 19:51

Marcello was starting to grow on me, now he's being a sleazer again.

I also think the Vivienne stuff was some kind of code - shame Lily ballsed it up.

Rosie being completely over the top during the phone call because she knew the camera was on her. Good on her for insisting on her own bed though.

Dogateahotdog · 29/10/2024 21:08

Martha 😬

StarSlinger · 29/10/2024 21:09

Oh dear. Nathan could have chosen someone who had already been HOH,
