Just watching it now. Oh my, it actually made me cry at the start 😢

Romeiswheretheheartis · 17/10/2024 22:01

How could that woman's attacker be found not guilty - there was video footage of her being attacked?!

Toddlerteaplease · 17/10/2024 22:37

@Romeiswheretheheartis I couldn't understand that either. Could t believe the mould in that ladies flat. Shocking.

LadyWiddiothethird · 17/10/2024 22:39

Yes,I couldn’t understand how that man was not guilty, bloody ridiculous. That poor woman.

I thought that too! That footage was very clear! Poor woman

Watching now. While he seemed a lovely man, on what planet was his broken nose from an assault a life threatening situation?

the80sweregreat · 18/10/2024 09:23

I was fuming when I saw that the man attacking that lady with a brick wasn't charged or found guilty ;( they had him on cctv attacking her ! How much more evidence do they need ?
Makes me wonder why there isn't any justice anymore.
So many people affected by illegal drugs. It really is a huge problem isn't it :(

Toddlerteaplease · 18/10/2024 17:30

I was a bit surprised they took the lady with loud to hospital, when there was nothing actually wrong with her. They seemed to imply they could get her alternative accommodation that day. But clearly they couldn't have done.

the80sweregreat · 18/10/2024 17:49

I think the lady with the mouldy flat , they said she was moved somewhere else ? I Might be wrong though !
( It is a quick round up at the end and isn't up for long and hard to speed read !)

Toddlerteaplease · 19/10/2024 20:02

They said she was waiting patiently to be rehoused.

purpleme12 · 21/10/2024 12:14

What a way to open the show with that crew and being assaulted!

the80sweregreat · 21/10/2024 16:43

My late sister in law was a paramedic in London in the 90s and was assaulted more than once
It hasn't improved. Sadly :(

purpleme12 · 01/11/2024 00:09

I'm watching episode 2 and this person has been waiting almost 4 times the standard response for a category 2 emergency 😞

purpleme12 · 09/11/2024 21:28

Watching episode 3 and this lady's been on the floor for 24 hours 😞

No she wasn’t! The round up at the end said she was discharged later that day and is still waiting to be moved! :(

purpleme12 · 09/11/2024 21:56

Oh my god someone rang 999 to get an appointment with their GP

😕

purpleme12 · 09/11/2024 23:03

It's lovely that Mavis has got such a nice neighbour

purpleme12 · 09/11/2024 23:06

Nicole was really good on the phone

TheDowagerCountessofPembroke · 09/11/2024 23:08

One thing I’ve noticed is that it’s all working class people. This is London, there must be plenty of people of all social backgrounds calling ambulances. Do they not get filmed or not consent?

BadgersGalore · 10/11/2024 08:29

This week was not all working class people, I'm thinking of the Asian couple in the nice big house and the lady with MS with all the books. But it often is I agree.

I’ve not watched this weeks yet.

Elderflower14 · 11/11/2024 18:36

Just watched last week's episode.. The two male ambulance crew were so lovely.
Would have liked to have heard how the lady with MS was.

Not sure why the bloke with a cut head needed an ambulance. His wife could have taken him.

Toddlerteaplease · 11/11/2024 19:25

The Asian couple are so sweet. Though I did think the husband was going to arrest when they sat him up. He looked ghastly.

AnotherVice · 11/11/2024 19:34

@TheDowagerCountessofPembroke Health inequalities is the reason for this. The social gradient in health is a worldwide phenomenon. Poorer people, with less education, have riskier jobs, poorer housing, higher rates of smoking and disease. It's fairly obvious really.
