Are Rachel and Zeke twins??? always seem to be in the same class for lessons, along with all the others (ringo, other boy who's rebecca's son, 'didge'). Are they all the same age?? and surely Rachel must be 16 by now...

never heard of any place where age of consent is 18. even in the US, most states are 16 or 17, with a provision that if the other party is within two years of your age it's not considered statutory rape.

she is 16. i think the age of consent is 16, but it is 18 if it is with a person who is responsible for them ie teacher, guardian etc.

unless it's a special australian law, then no, age of consent is usually age of consent.

a guardian would be a different story from a teacher, i'd think, since a person would be living with a guardian.

if i were rachel, i'd go to court for emancipated minor - if in fact a person is considered a minor till 18 in oz - and get shot of susan and karl.

ringo got held back a year and i believe zeke went up a year coz he so brainy. All the others are all the same. im pretty sure she turned 15 few months ago..remember her birthday but yes she has been silly young forever. Eternal youth maybe!
