Only the woman playing the doctor is an actor, IIUC.

I thought this was about Doctor Who

Rufus has a sort of approach I have seen used by disabled rights activists.

I'd not considered this approach being used for mental illness, but I suppose there is some validity in it.

Ruth's condition does not necessarily preclude her from being a doctor.

unfortunately, no other way to do it, because Ruth's identity has to be protected due to the stigma of her condition.

night night!

hope i don't vom tonight.

Didn't realise she was an actress, thought I recognised her!

expatinscotland · 21/04/2008 22:46

some of her details needed changed, too.

but everyone else is the real thing.

I'm watching. Rufus seems bloody irresponsible to me. Ruth is very ill and needs medication to keep her alive. He is using her like a laboratory guinea pig to provehis own theory. He is obviously not helping her.

expatinscotland · 21/04/2008 22:53

i'm reserving judgement for now.

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 21/04/2008 22:54

is it right to force someoen to take medication when they are a danger to themselves, though?

is it helping them?

i can't say i'm 100% sure.

She's not only a danger to herself but to her parents too. What about their rights (not to be knifed by their very sick dd)?

God I hope she's alive.

expatinscotland · 21/04/2008 23:02

well, i agree with you there. BUT, i'm talking about people who are harming or a danger to only themselves.
