OK I give up I can't find it anywhere and now I'm sure I've missed it. What channel are they showing it on?

Farb · 21/04/2008 21:31

You can watch it on 4OD. One of my fave comedy shows. I love the episode where the blokes try to write a childrens book.

BlinkingNoraWotzThat · 21/04/2008 21:43

sky comedy Hairytoe

that episodes great, with manny as the Caterpillar? very short arms and the hen do.

yes that's the one. The story they make up is excellent. How many books just like that have I been forced to re-read a zillion times over the last few years.

I also love the one where manny gets really hot (is it daves syndrome or something).

Oh they're all good. I often watch them on 4OD when ironing.

MrsJohnCusack · 21/04/2008 22:04

yes! Dave Syndrome
fabulous

pamplemousse · 21/04/2008 22:08

We have all on DVD too. I love where they are looking after a friends house and Bernard is eating a coaster... as they have just emptied the cellar of the nasty old dusty wine and left the new shiny wine there! Its very sad me and dp almost know the words ;)

Farb · 21/04/2008 22:09

DH was rolling around on the floor at the end when he is beating the car up with a trafic cone.

I suspect Dh might have dave syndrome, he went a bit troppo when we were in darwin.

S1ur · 21/04/2008 22:11

yep fan-bloody-tastic

SlartyBartFast · 21/04/2008 22:12

where is it on?

SlartyBartFast · 21/04/2008 22:12

not channel 4 i take it.
loved it too.

Farb · 21/04/2008 22:14

You can get all the episodes free, on demand on 4OD (on your puter). No ads either.

SlartyBartFast · 21/04/2008 22:24

oh thanks.
will try

Farb · 21/04/2008 22:25

it's great you can pause and go to the loo (or fill up iron resevoir)

HairyToe · 21/04/2008 22:48

OK on your recommendations I have just gone and reserved series 1, 2 and 3 from the library.

BlinkingNoraWotzThat · 21/04/2008 22:50

i don;t have autority?? or something. will try another day.

asicsgirl · 24/04/2008 06:47

My favourite is the one where Bernard has to pretend to be able to play the piano. And the one with Fran's friend from college with the deep voice. And the 'old wine' one. And the one with Julian Rhind-Tutt as the explorer. And the one where they fit the security door. And... all of them actually. Have just been re-watching Green Wing, must start watching Black Books again now!

redroof · 24/04/2008 07:39

Love, love, love!! We have the DVD set too. Saw Dylan and Bill at an arts festival last year-highly recommend seeing them live. :-)

asicsgirl · 24/04/2008 08:30

Bill Bailey is a comedy god. I play this video to my students to introduce them to a course on language change. They never laugh as much as me though

niceglasses · 24/04/2008 08:41

Its a fab combo. Dylan Moran is lovely and dry and grump and Bill Bailey is just one of those genuinely very funny pple.

BlinkingNoraWotzThat · 24/04/2008 09:56

asicsgirl thanks for the link
its very funny

also like the piano one
when fran got an office job tapping on the keyboard, not knowing WHAT she was doing and her boardroom pitch.
