You know the sort of thing-
always check for cctv before snogging someone inappropriate
dont leave your phone out where anyone can see your secret messages
dont have life changing conversations in a pub

There might be a thread on this sort of thing already but couldn't find it. My YP is off to uni & I thought it might be a fun thing to give them 😁
Thanks in advance

I haven't followed a soap since the glory days of Curly and Raquel on Corrie. Once she left it seemed empty to me.

What I do recall from my soap watching days is that if you have a big piece of news to tell someone you don't just phone them up and give them the facts or tell them when you next see them. You have to make a big mystery of it and say you have something to tell them at a later date. The explaining why you can't just tell them now probably takes longer but it allows extra time for misunderstandings.

Go into the middle of a field with someone you're about to tell something important (or secret) to, a minimum 10 minutes walk from anyone. Otherwise, as you're about to tell them, someone will definitely appear less than 20 feet away from you, JUST as you open your mouth. Happens every time.

Also, if you are hiding from someone, and they come to your house and you run upstairs, (and someone tells them you're not there,) be sure to start coming down the stairs as they are going back out of the front door. Don't wait a minute or two to make sure they have gone/driven off!

Don't ever mention wanting kids. Makes you instantly infertile, until you sleep with the wrong person

If you have something life-changingly important to tell someone, never ever tell them right then and there. Make sure you arrange to meet them later to tell them the news, thus guaranteeing you'll end up in a coma before you can impart the vital information
