I saw a funny clip from Schitts creek- I thought I may give it a go. Is it any good?

Absolutely loved it, one of my favourite shows.

It’s excellent. Took me a few episodes to get it, once you’re in to it it’s absolutely brilliant.

A great show. Short episodes and full of laughs. The mother is a hoot!

Yes, it's brilliant. I even started to watch it for a second time which is something I never do. Give it time to get into the swing of things.

It's so good! I always have it on! Stick with it until S3, it just gets better!

It’s amazing! It takes you a while to start to like them, they seem pretty awful at the start and then you love them. Really good character development and story arc. Moira Rose is one of my all time favorite characters. Enjoy!

I loved it. I was undecided after the first episode and almost didn’t continue . By the end of episode 2 I was hooked. I binged on it during lockdown and was disappointed when it ended. Shitts Creek not lockdown! I found it hilarious as did my friends and family who started watching after I recommended it.

I was just thinking recently I’m going to start at the beginning and watch it all again.

Really don't like it, realise I might be in the minority though.

It won so many awards quite rightly - it was genius. I still miss it and watch repeats all the time.

I've seen it so many times I can quote most episodes. It's beautiful, heartwarming, hilariously funny and you will end it and be tearful you've finished - then you'll fall into the Schitts creek Reddit thread and start trying to hunt down merchandise online. And then you'll go back to the start and watch it all over again, and each rewatch you'll discover something else hysterical that you missed the first or second time around!

It's truly one of the best shows because every episode is like a gentle hug and in a world where misery is a click away, you need this escapism.

I loved it but I kind of feel it got less funny as it went on.

Best thing l have ever watched

It took me a good few episodes to get into it. I still wouldn't say it was my most favourite show ever but I'm still glad I watched it. Some brilliant moments in it. And I will never pronounce "baby" the proper way again thanks to Moira.

I watched the first episode but couldn't understand why they were going to stay on the motel when surely renting a place would be cheaper.. did I miss a plot point there?

They were completely bankrupt and the only place they could go was a town they owned called Schitts Creek

@swimsong they were 'comped' the motel rooms because they owned the town.

Op yes it's brilliant. I started it once and didn't continue as thought the characters were awful. Next time I persevered and I absolutely loved it.

Completely brilliant. Takes quite a while to get into but by the end you are in love with them all. Persevere and you will be so pleased you did.
