It's all on I player , so thought I'd start a spoiler thread. Do not post spoilers on the normal thread..

I've seen two so far and struggling to stay awake. The acting isn't great and they don't see too bothered that Mom has gone awol.
I guess that Savannah is related to the dad or something to do with the tennis star that's come back from retirement.

The mother is so awful!!! I find her unbearable and what she did to her family was absolutely awful (regarding the star tennis player and then lying about it). Plus she's the one who had an affair. I don't get why she's the victim in all this. I wouldn't have forgiven her.

I didn't finish the book. So unbelievably dull.

The ending was terrible, what a let down

This has been the case with so many things I have watched over the past few years that I'm thinking of giving up on them.
Nobody seems to be able to write anything decent.

They keep giving commissions to the same people over and over again. Very few new writers break through so we get the same regurgitated shite on repeat.

I found it passed the time in a standard US TV drama series kind of way with all the cliches - including all 4 of the adult children having to have the obligatory sex scene, did anyone else notice this?

I think the ending was corny and the final episode could have had a whole lot more tension. There could have been a lot more plot around whether Savannah was going to harm Joy or not. I would also liked to have seen more of her life before she targetted the Delaneys, some of her previous scams etc.

I didn't really have a problem with the 4 adult children not looking alike, but I absolutely did have a problem with the that they all seemed to spend every waking moment trailing around together! No sibling set behaves like that.

Agree! The book is ok but I’m not enjoying the tv series at all.

I've finished it and it passed the time on a very covid day in bed. I did enjoy all the family stories.

But agree with a pp it seems everythibg I've watched recently has far more graphic sex scenes than used to be in murder mysteriss/average dramas.

When did this happen??
