Which recent shows would you recommend, and why?

I've been watching older series for the last couple of years and have no idea what I've missed! Would prefer a series to a film.

Have you seen Colin From Accounts? Australian comedy series on BBC iplayer. The second series has just been released. Well worth watching!

Thanks! No I've never even heard of it! I was sat here doing the endless netflix scroll and no clue where to start.

Will have a look :)

Depends what things you like but we’ve enjoyed -

Daddy Issues on iPlayer
Mr Bigstuff - now tv I think
Monsters - new series by the people who made the Jeffery Dahmer docudrama - this ones about the Menedez brothers; very interesting, Netflix
Grace - 4 seasons of it on itv x, most recent series is very dark 😳

Enjoying Slow Horses currently

Slow Horses is fabulous (Apple TV). I also enjoyed Colin From Accounts (iPlayer). Only Murders in the Building (Disney+) is fun too. What kind of genre do you enjoy?

I just watched Anatomy of a Crime on iPlayer and it was excellent

Just finished Kaos on netflix. It's a hoot but not silly. Has a dark thread. I love Jeff goldblum but the rest of the cast are great too.

Couples therapy is quite addictive

Well maybe a bit silly but stylish and fun.

The Perfect Couple (Netflix) was utterly daft and Nicole Kidman's wig was distracting...but I thought it was entertaining.

If you are into documentaries I really enjoyed Into the Fire about an adopted girl who had disappeared and her bio mum went looking for her.

I'm currently obsessed with All Creatures Great and Small (Five) which is very well acted, gentle, no violence, no sex, and has plenty of excellent animals in it. The antithesis of anything on HBO, if you will. Lovely peaceful telly.

Sandman on Netflix is brilliant.
