Just watched the final. I am suspicious of Scott and Sam’s last job in the food truck paying so much money and it being just the right amount to finish as it seems too good to be true?

I believe there has been talk of production interceding to help teams in past episodes.

I hope I am wrong and they did win fair and square as I like them as a team. It has just left a doubt in my mind.

I can't understand how the cousins made it to the end with so little money and no mention of their budget. Definitely suspect.

I believe they do regulate things so it remains a race (e.g. not allowing teams to do several back to back coaches so they beat the other teams by miles). I’m sure a taxi across the Andes would have cost a lot more than the £34 Kola and Mary Ellen paid. They wanted to keep them all in the race. I loved this series and will miss it!

I absolutely loved it too, and don't mind a bit if there's a bit of artistic licence.

I was incredibly suspicious of that rate of pay.

i feel sorry for the man who had to pay them! and that was before i knew about the cost

I'm sure the production company gave the man the money to "pay" them.

I'm disappointed they made it blatantly obvious it was a fix this time. In the regular show they have had people drop out due to lack of money why not in the celeb version.
