It's Apple TV I think? I loved the sound of it and saw some great reviews - would it be OK for 6yo?

We watched it and enjoyed it. We then watched the original film as I'd never seen it and neither had the kids.

yes, it’s on Apple TV. I would say it’s suitable for a 6yr old. I haven’t seen the original film but now want to track it down. My kids loved the Judy and Mansa Musa characters.

The original 1981 film is fantastic, although does have a few scenes which could be a bit scary for young children. I'd say it's Doctor Who level of scary.

I love the ending, but can’t say any more in case of spoilers !

Had no idea this was a show now I'll have to check it out. I loved the original film.
