Just interested to see what others thought of it. I really enjoyed it at first but then it got utterly ridiculous

Agreed! It was a bit one-note with the whole “is she mad or is the other one bad?” plot and the last 20 mins were just a bit bonkers and frenetic.

I would have been annoyed if I’d spent money to see it at the cinema but an ok filler for a grey afternoon at home!

and I like looking at the massive American houses too.

I was disappointed by it. Also thought that Ann Hathaway looked very thin/ frail.

Glad it's not just me then

Yes me too. Agree with everything said. Started good but ended far fetched and weird

Pigeonqueen · 08/09/2024 20:20

We absolutely loved it! Wasn’t what we expected at all but really enjoyable and weird.

The ending was just so ridiculous. You can’t just replace your child. I actually rolled my eyes at it

I think the inference is that she was so disturbed by the loss of her child and had a complete break with reality that she was able to think this way. I don’t think we’re meant to see it in a literal, real sense.

I loved it.

She didn't replace her child,it wasn't literal as @Pigeonqueen says.
