If it transpires that Arthur is actually Laurel and Ashley's baby what do you think should happen?

I think he should be given back to them.

but they didn't know that, and they have loved him.

Not quite so bad if there is a straight swap, you could eventually transfer all that love to another child (I suppose, in soapland, at least) but to have to hand your baby over, and not get one back... it's harsh.

And how will Laurel & Ashley feel? will they think that Arthur is a replacement for Daniel?

I don't watch it btw...

AT the minute L is saying she doesn't want to take anyone else's baby.

It is a hard one.

At least this time it isn't real.
