grace miscast

who ever cast john simms as inspector grace clearly hasnt read ant of the novels grace is supposed to be a 6ft ex rugby player john is clearly a wimp and cant even act tough it spoils the experience for any grace fans

I haven't read the books but I think he plays the part fantastically.

It's a bit like the Rebus series - there have been several actors and people's opinions vary. I know what you mean about Grace having read all the books . I like Sim though.

I cannot agree more! John Simm is completely wrong, not fit, sporty or handsome and is completely wooden. Norman is miscast as well. Such a shame as the books are so good!

Yes! John Simm is a wonderful actor, but grossly miscast in this role.

I can't believe I gave this twaddle 1.5 hours of my time. That was absolutely dreadful.

We were saying exactly the same last night. I'm also very distracted by Bella's ears.

I've only read one of the Grace books many years ago so I don't really have an ideal picture of the character but I thought last week's episode was so boring and this week's one totally unbelievable.

I'm not sure I'll waste another couple of hours next Sunday watching the third episode.

I like John Simm usually too.

I have read a lot of the Grace books and yes he is totally miscast, as is Norman. The TV series is rubbish compared to the books.

I really don't get Norman and his gf who is so tedious I can't remember her name 😂
