I think I will watch the Voice for a bit. It wasn't great last week- it probably won't be this week, but I'm a glutton for punishment.

I just took the dog for a quick trot and it's very windy here now too. I saw some of the voice, I liked the goth girl from Manchester but yeah it was all a bit meh

I liked her. Most of the ones I liked, didn't get through - and vice versa. But it never was a programme that seemed to actually want a winner .

The good thing about having the option of watching the Voice though, is that I can watch that whilst they waffle for hours , and do all the National Anthem/military stuff. Which takes ages at the US Open.

The crowd are definitely getting involved early- could be very tough for Aryna.

Crowd support notwithstanding I really don’t back either of the Americans to pull off the upset. I feel like both the men’s and women’s finals could be disappointing, but hopefully I’m wrong.

This could be quite a speedy match. I think once Aryna settles in, she will be too much for Jess, even with the crowd support.

Or I could be wrong hedges bets.

Ice I agree- although it remains to be seen if Jannik sustained any long term injury to his wrist. I hope not.
