ALW Nancy and Oliver search

I have been catching bits of the find a Nancy program, on and off, and am getting a bit interested now

I never seem to see a whole program tho, as its bedtime and busy then.

Why are they paired up? Is there a reason for the pairing? Was it ever explained? It seems a bit odd, they seem to be matched for age and looks to a certain extent.

Do they each have a theme colour? Are they supposed to wear a necklace?

Some of the dressed are really good but some are really awful.

they aren't really paired, they jsut have them singing in twos but its different each week.

they each have a colour for some reason, maybe so that if old or thick people can't remember the names of the one they like they can recognise them by their colour

the necklace thing is a weirdy weird ritual, whereby the one that gets voted out has their necklace taken off by the one that ALW "saves" at the end.

I agree that the stylist needs shooting/help/to be albe to buy their dresses somewhere other than Jane Norman

The whole thing is one of my guilty pleasures, and me and ds who is 3.6 watch it together in lieu of stories on Saturday night.

I felt sorry for the blond girl (pink) when they said she had no depth, her song didnt tequire it!

To pale blue they said too vulnorable/wimpie etc but to dark pink/fusha (or possibly red) they said she brought a new fragility and wasnt that good!

Anyway, I think I need the colours for a few weeks more... :p
