TV series for 8 year olds

Hi- does anyone have any recommendations for tv shows or series, even films for an 8 year old boy.

He loved young Sheldon, worst witch but sad he’s finished them!

we have Netflix , Disney, Apple, Norma tv, I think that’s it x

Mallory towers - cbbc
Famous five - cbbc (just double check age rating)
Inbestigators- Netflix
The floor is lava - Netflix
Newsround - cbbc
Game on grandparents - cbbc
Operation ouch - cbbc
How2 - or something similar, on itv
Dengineers - cbbc

DS is nearly 11 now but these are all programmes he lives around then or still does now. I'll check our 'my shows' listings in the morning as well!

Mine are a bit older but have recently discovered Pets Factor

The middle would be a good shout.

A Series of unfortunate events- netflix series with Neil Patrick Harris rather than the film.

My DS loved it and rewatched it several times around that age

Ok bear with me. These won't sound like 8 year old programmes but mine loved them

James Herriot (the original - All creatures great and small-but the five series as well)
One foot in the grave
Only Fools
Heartbeat

All have the same small peril, but generally tame vibe as young Sheldon.

My 8yo DD likes most of these (and I'll suggest the others to her) and she also watches:

Tracy Beaker
So Awkward

Mine loved Ghosts and Here We Go but appreciate this may be pushing it.
