Help me identify this actor

So sorry it’s one of these. But mumsnet always solves it and it drives me bananas when I can’t get to a name!

He is British, male, quite tall. He has light brown hair often floppy ish on top. He is in his 50s. He has a distinctive voice that I think he uses for voice overs. A bit like Richard Armitage’s voice. It’s not Ralph Innes but his sort of genre.

I’ve seen him in dramas (ITV maybe? Channel 5 maybe?) playing the dad and husband. He usually plays a serious role.

Yes, like Shaun Dooley as an actor very much. He played a major role in the drama about the Post Office scandal. He played Lee Castleton.
