What next after Bridgerton?

I'm in a place of needing fluffy tv or at least unbelievably mad tv and so thoroughly binged Bridgerton last week. What shall I have this week? I'm also looking for any French language stuff as somehow I can separate that into my French brain and not get emotional (much)

Emily in Paris!

IKnowAristotle · 05/08/2024 12:38

Does Bridgerton include the Queen Charlotte spin off as that's worth watching?

AreYouMeOrWhat · 05/08/2024 12:41

Call My Agent (in French). And agree re Emily in Paris.

Polkadottydot · 05/08/2024 17:40

Have seen Emily but there's new coming soon ? Not seen Queen Charlotte. Is that worth a watch ?

Sorry misread what you'd said about Queen Charlotte. Will give it a try. Call my agent was bloody excellent. As was family business if anyone hasn't seen that ? So so funny.

Queen Charlotte is great.
The Guilded Age is by Julian Fellows (Downton) set in NY.
The Marvellous Mrs Maisel is completely epic, and the fashion is too. I'm still a bit sad it's finished 🥲
Anne with an E
One Day
I'll probably think of more, I always have a series on the go.

Agree with Queen Charlotte. I've been watching The Great on All4 - delightfully ridiculous and not at all historically accurate 😆

De Cameron is amusing and silly if you want something historical (historical ISH, like Bridgerton)

The Trouble with Maggie Cole is entertaining me at the mo, Dawn French six parter about a village gossip.

Both on Netflix

My Lady Jane

I second that about Decameron it's odd but good
