Does anyone know anyone who has ever been prosecuted for not having a TV licence?

Not personally but several years back when I used to read my local newspaper the court report for the towns courthouse was usually full of people being fined for not having a licence.

Yes a friend of mine years ago, got a £50 fine & named in the local paper (she doesn’t know that I know).. but they don’t put your name in the local rag now. Why? Are you worried?

Good. There is a guy on YouTube called “chillijoncarne”, he's knowledgeable on getting rid of the license, people getting fined, etc, worth a look.
