Can anyone give me a quick summary of Desperate Housewives 1st 2 parts of this series?

We missed the first two of this series and have this week's recorded ready to watch.

I could probably download at least one from Channel 4 but can't be bothered...could anyone give me a quick summary of what happened in the first two? I'm sure we'll catch up!
