At least there stil are line judges, whatever they are wearing.

It's preferable to the automated one-note line calling, which I realy don't like, and I find so impersonal. I like seeing the line judges at the slams. It's probably a really big deal to be part of it all- I'm sure they don't need people getting offended on their behalf. Same with the ball girls- it's a huge honour to be picked.

Obviously the OP of that thread doesn't watch much tennis- the outfits at Madrid last year really were something to complain about. But Wimbledon, no.

It feels like she's been around forever- she's won so many titles- and she's only 27!

I did not do good planning when I said I'd work from 1-5 today. Luckily I work from home and can have the match on another screen but really should have planned better!

Why do they bother with the bunches of flowers? They’re not exactly a useful item for a tennis match.

Better to get flowers when they get the trophy. Or do they get a second bunch then ?

I don’t really mind who wins but I can’t help rooting for Jasmine as a fellow short, brown, curly haired person. That’s where the similarities end unfortunately, I don’t think I have an elite athletic performance in me

I was lucky to be at the quarter final on Tuesday and Jasmine’s energy was electric. I hope she can lift herself.

I don’t really mind who wins either but probably a slight preference for Jasmine - Barbora’s already won a slam so it would be nice for Jasmine to win one too.
