Regarding Sean and everyone else maybe they aren't allowed to talk normally on camera and only say the silly phrases and lines the producers expect them to say!!

As thread says awful pathetic mess 🙄

Joey is giving a horrible controlling vibe. I don’t agree that Grace was loving it, I get the impression that she’s quite embarrassed about him being so over the top all the time. The other night when Sam left and Joey flounced off after Sam wouldn’t speak to him, Grace tried to talk to Joey and said that he shouldn’t have made it about him and that he could have just been there quietly to say goodbye. Then Joey said something like he didn’t like how Grace was trying to tell him off. I think he sees himself as the one with all the power and control and expects her to fall in line to be with him.

SEAN IS A DICK! He’s clearly so insecure he has to send his ‘rival’ home. It’s pathetic.

Ronnie and Jess should have gone, not Omar and Tiff.

The producers need to let the public choose who goes home, stop all this mates stuff, so boring.

Absolutely agree, just watched tonight’s episode. Seriously can’t believe he did that, thinks it’s ok, then says Omar was his closest friend? Surely if he had a connection with Tilda he wouldn’t need to vote Omar out. He comes across as a complete snake. Good on Ciaran for calling him out. Plus I’m surprised the snakey behaviour hasn’t gave Tilda the ick.

Strawberrylime97 · 23/06/2024 23:29

Did anyone catch Rizzle Kicks guys comment on Aftersun. ‘I know what Grace wants and it isn’t Joey’ … it’s something on the confectionery isle, sweets, CHOCOLATE. Big hint at what her type is there

Strawberrylime97 · 23/06/2024 23:30

Someone said if Sean was a sweet he’d be a Jelly Snake 🐍

Mozziesallaround · 23/06/2024 23:42

@Strawberrylime97 But how would he know that 🤷🏻‍♀️

brendafromacrosstheroad · 23/06/2024 23:43

I think Omar will end up in Casa. He is friends with Stomzy on the outside which will also make him Mayas friend too. I can't see the producers letting him go that easy when he's got friends behind the scenes

I was thinking that. I’d love if he did and then got to know Grace more without Joey there and they came back together. Imagine Joeys face. Although it might cause a fight. Apparently they’ve already had a physical fight

Fruit11 · 23/06/2024 23:51

Same could be said for Matilda and Omar aswell

Arconialiving · 23/06/2024 23:59

pinkdelight · 23/06/2024 23:17

Also - I bloody love Rizzle Kicks guy as pundit on Aftersun. He's so unfiltered and dead right about so much. He's got them all down. Make her permanent I say!

Agreed!

Hope Omar goes into casa & mixes things up a bit!

Can't remember the name of the poster who asked, but behind the scenes on Aftersun showed Matilda telling Konner she wasn't wearing any knickers!

Arconialiving · 23/06/2024 23:59

*When they were entering I mean!

pinkdelight · 24/06/2024 00:02

Thank you! I feel less daft now for not knowing about plastic sided thongs, seeing as there wasn't any after all!

Arconialiving · 24/06/2024 00:03

I hadn't heard of plastic sides thongs either @pinkdelight

Mozziesallaround · 24/06/2024 00:14

So do they not exist…? That could be a business idea 🤔

Fruit11 · 24/06/2024 00:22

They do exist but seemingly only on places like Shein and Temu

Fruit11 · 24/06/2024 00:26

Oh and they look awful and so uncomfortable

LOVE ISLAND 2, It's as awful as always!
von1471 · 24/06/2024 01:25

Sean went down in my estimation, getting rid of Omah to suit his own aims and Cairan was absolutely right to call him out on it.

I don’t think Grace and Joey would last long on the outside, or possibly in the house. I don’t think she’s as taken with Joey as he likes to think. They seem to bicker a lot for such a “new” relationship and methinks she has a wandering eye, or is she just doing it to make Joey jealous. Either way their relationship won’t last.

Sweetenuf · 24/06/2024 01:40

Sean has lost a lot of support! A lot of people online say they regret voting for him. I always thought his behaviour was low key creepy. He went after Harriet and then Jess as soon as Ronnie was binning them off and he pulled the whole sweet line on every girl like a script. I don’t think he’s the nice guy people think he is and this has confirmed it.

Something seems to be a bit off with him! The fact he couldn’t even get his head round why Ciaran disagreed with his reasoning for kicking Omar out was weird to me.

He’s either lacking in common sense or it was a gaslighting tactic. Well done to Ciaran for standing his ground respectfully. Sean kept going on as if trying to change Ciarans mind!

Joey is also awful! His aggressive behaviour to Omar backfired in that exchange since Omar clearly wasn’t intimidated, but Love island set things up to make sure all Joey’s ops go, Samantha now Omar - so on the flipside he kind of signed his exit card when he stepped on Joeys feet. I don’t know who had the lowest amount of votes but I doubt it was Omar & Jess.

And the absolute arrogance saying they got lower votes because Grace liked Omar. He hasn’t considered it’s because of how he treated Samantha.

Interesting how Grace won’t say specifically what Omar did or said and Love Island didn’t show this allegedly flirting 🤔 I wonder how flirty it really was. She’s probably exaggerating. And then she later kind of said, she was “getting to know Omar” which suggests if any flirting did occur it was more mutual than what she initially made out.

feelingalittlehorse · 24/06/2024 07:20

I liked it at the start when Sean didn’t really speak or have any screen time. He was better then.

Back21970 · 23/06/2024 22:52

Were they told to keep Joey and Grace in? Surely letting them leave together when they’ve rekindled their romance be the decent thing to do and give someone else a chance.

Sean has went down in my estimations wanting Omar gone because he was competition.

Thing is though, they're supposed to keep people in that have good connections. It's normally always what they base their decisions on and generally the public do too.

Perhaps they can't see it's unfair like we do, that they're at an advantage as they'd already made a connection prior to entering. It was the same for Molly and Callum and the public were rooting for them to get back together in there, nobody was saying that wasn't fair.

Just to add I do not like Joey and Grace at all!

CellophaneFlower · 24/06/2024 09:54

Fruit11 · 23/06/2024 22:49

Agree with Ciaron at the end there, it’s not their decision to decide on behalf of Matilda.just because Omar has gone, someone else might come in who Matilda likes more. I think Sean is being very possessive and it’s getting weird.

I found it weird when Sean asked Jess what Matilda was going to be wearing that night. Was he asking to determine what to wear himself, as he often remarks how he and whatever girl he's dribbling over are "matching" as though it means they're totally in tune with each other 🤔

I think he said it to Matilda the other day when she was in dark blue and he had a really pale blue top on. It was a bit of a reach 😂

CheeseWisely · 24/06/2024 09:57

Just caught up with last night. I've gone right off Sean.

Delighted by how shocked Joey & Grace were to be vulnerable. It's Love Island though, not ex on the beach. We want new couples, not pre-existing ones. I'd love somebody in there to ask why they broke up in the first place, and what's changed aside from a £50k prize now.

What a surprise that Ronnie has gone straight back to Harriet like a rat up a drainpipe, and that she's not told him to piss off.

RIP to the minks that had to die for Harriet's eyelashes.

As an aside; I stalked Tiffany's Instagram earlier. I'd guess she had those teeth done around Christmas last year. Not a single open-mouthed smile on her grid before then!

CellophaneFlower · 24/06/2024 09:57

And if Joey mutters "it's not friend island" one more time... 🙄 It's as though he thinks he's coined this expression himself and he's hoping it will catch on like his stupid reem bollocks. No Joey, you're years too late for that.

Catlord · 24/06/2024 09:58

Joey and Sean are utterly creepy. Omar was brilliant handling both of them with South London panache, not kicking off but absolutely not intimidated or taken in by 'nice guy' routines.

Matilda looked unsure to me after her exchange with Sean re Omar. She'll stick with him to try and win it, or at least not burn her bridges yet, but if I was her or Grace I'd be having a word with Konnor.

Joey really can't see he and grace were unpopular due to his treatment of Sam. Grace doesn't seem that invested but still.

Not sure why Sean and Harriet's vote won.

pinkdelight · 24/06/2024 10:58

Not sure why Sean and Harriet's vote won.

Because nobody stuck their neck out with any alternative proposals, as far as we were shown. There's definitely producer interference otherwise Joey and Grace would have been more of an option. But with the others, it's fine for Mimi and Ciaran to disagree but unless they're saying e.g. 'let's lose Ronnie and Jess instead', then they're tacitly backing Sean and Harriet's choice regardless.

But Ciaran did mention Ronnie’s name, didn’t he? And he couldn’t say Jess because Nicole wouldn’t let him let her best friend go home, even though other than a week of Ronnie she has had zero connections.

It’s not fair they get to choose. It makes it much more boring as they just keep their mates.
