Just finished watching Tracker with Justin Hartley (aka Santa no. 2 from Bad Moms Xmas). I really enjoyed it. Its crime from a different angle. It helps that the male lead is easy on the eye but I enjoyed the mostly small town US settings. Only 13 episodes which is annoyingly short for US drama. A second series has been comissioned.

Has anyone else been watching or am I the only one?

Anyhow the book its based on (The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver) is currently on Kindle for 99p.

Lol - Glad you enjoyed it. I LOVE Justin Hartley and I couldn’t watch it because it was so bad - and I will watch most things. After his sterling performance in This is Us, I have no idea why he took the part?

I watched it and quite enjoyed it although some of the story lines are a bit farfetched. I didn't know Justin Hartley before this but thought he did a good job I loved all the main female characters - his lesbian bosses and his love/hate relationship with the lawyer. It hit a pretty sweet spot for me; characters I cared about, interesting locations and different parts of America and no graphic violence. Easy watching.

I really enjoyed it and thought Justin did a great job. Also, didn't hurt to have the adonis that is Jensen Ackles appear 😍

Looking forward to season 2. I miss the days of a TV show being 22 episodes long.

Maybe I’ll give it another go then 😂

I think he wanted to work with the producer (or director?) of 'this is us' again or something? I remember reading an interview when i googled a few weeks back but cant exactly recall - menopausal brain farts.

Interesting fact - his real life wife plays his nemesis in the race horse episode.

The final episode wasnt that dramatic, usually theres a big cliffhanger so it felt a bit weird. But overall it was good. I liked the different story each episode without too much of the background arc being impossible to understand.

I just checked and the next series will be aired in US in Autumn. Disneyplus were about 4 weeks after the US airdates.
