I am. Rhanna is a selfish mare. Did anyone else notice the lack of a car seat in the opening credits?

MummyPenguin · 07/04/2008 22:16

I think the commune was Caed hills. It was definitely Caed something. Very far out man!!

This series is by the same makers as the Baby Borrowers. They make for quite riveting viewing. They're all so different, the Mums, it should be interesting.

Greensleeves · 07/04/2008 22:17

I watched it. Fuck me

Yurtgirl · 07/04/2008 22:30

Thankyou penguin!!

MummyPenguin · 08/04/2008 11:35

My sentiments exactly Greensleeves!! I don't mean to be horrible, but wasn't Rhianna ugly? Those eyebrows for starters!! And her hair! She may share the same name as a gorgeous pop singer, but definitely not the looks!

LadyOfWaffle · 08/04/2008 11:52

Why is it called Young Mums Mansion - the common bond they share is all being single mums. Why not single mums mansion?

JamSamBam · 08/04/2008 15:10

its Coed Hills Commune...not caed!!

I watched it and I thought it was good and quite interesting. I wonder what conclusions they will all come to and if single mums are better off living in a commune environment instead of coping alone. we're really lucky to have my partner there and I can't imagine how difficult it must be to look after children all alone. xXx

At the end of last nights show they showed clips from tonights episode and showed one of the Mums (the painter decorator-can't remember names)being taken off in a stretcher with a neck brace! Am goona try and watch tonight. I was already worried about that Mum as she was gonna get her DH back from Nigeria after he got deported back there years ago and I just was worried that it might not be a happy ending! Hope DH hasn't found himself a new fancy woman out in Nigeria or whatever.

Tasha is dreadful. The hyper little boy - Amari?- is just like my DS

cheekymonk · 11/04/2008 06:51

I just think it has been brilliant in showing that lone parents become lone parents for so many different reasons and that those circumstances could happen to any of us!
I did find Jane (she was the last leader with short blonde hair) hard to like but thought she was brave trying to tackle the issues of exes.
I was moved by the lady that said her situation couldn't be fixed as she was still in love with her ex and he didn't love her. So sad and she seems lovely!
