Rubbish casting

All those huge eyelashes, giant norks and incredibly long fingernails - you'd think they'd get in the way during the challenges.

I’m giving it a go but I dislike the reality stars, it’s all so fake. They are all wearing expensive clothes and clearly spent money on plastic surgery, do they really need the money?

I agree they all seem quite awful. The first series had a mix of celebrities and ordinary folk. The final was the best I have ever seen

The great aspect of the UK show is the diversity of characters. All ages/backgrounds getting to know each other and work out who they can trust

In this, they're all middle aged rich reality tv stars who have been mates for 30 years

I'm really enjoying it now. Am on episode 6. You have to give it time to get to know the characters.

And despite all the botox and fillers, it's still compelling TV. It's like watching human chess!

I'm ploughing through it but fuck me they're dull, fake and stupid. I can't get on board with this celebs thing. And how bizarre is it with John Bercow in there?!?

I must admit I did enjoy the sheer daftness of the bird-call challenge last night.

I've just come to find this thread to say how much I loathe Alan Cummings as presenter of this show. It's so ridiculous. He's like a pantomime baddie with dreadful acting. Awful.

AC's outfits are clearly designed to appeal to an American audience - he is playing the eccentric Scottish person who got dressed in a tartan shop in a power cut.

There's only one person in there who's really playing the game and has a proper handle on it. And he isn't an American reality tv sleb either.

I have stuck with this despite how annoying it is. They are the most dislikeable people ever

@Dottiethekangaroo I think they have just finished filming series 3 of the UK one. No idea when that will be broadcast though.

I actually found the Australian Traitors much less entertaining than this. Partly cos of the host who was very dull!

I've given up on this. It's so poor. There's none of the psychological gameplay or actual effort non-celebs put in that makes it so watchable. And also that traitor just gave up half way through and it became a kind of open secret that they were.
Dull series, which is a shame.

I don't think he was pretending anything. The accusation was that his breathing changed and it must have been a reaction to being chosen as a traitor. But we know he wasn't chosen.

Shame about the final outcome. It did look a bit as if two of them got together to edge out the third so as to increase their own share of the prize.

I like it because it is so different to UK Traitors. I love Alan Cumming in it. He is clearly playing a role reflected by his dress. I find it very funny.

Remembering the Australian Traitors, I now realise that they were far worse than this bunch. I could not finish that series.

John Bercow seems to have commanded some respect. Possibly comparing him to their own politicians.
