She did fake losing it but then we found out she was preg as she got taken away and think she told martin but he didn't beleive her

I'm not sure if it's in part her acting, but Anna doesn't come across as very bright.
Gina is growing into the role and seems more natural.

Ah Found it about Ruby

I think they wanted Anna and Bobby together as the sweet, innocent couple and also she is a good contrast to Gina.
It allowed the Anna/ Freddie storyline to develop
Gina would just dump Bobby for Freddie pronto but Anna will feel guilty.

I don’t think the Anna/Bobby pairing has even been very credible - her and Freddy are a match made in heaven. Although I suppose they could be too similar.

I feel that given you can find anyone's past history easily living on the square , you'd soon find out that Bobby attacked his step mum once and helped finish off his half sibling with a music box and run for the hills ( not to mention that Anna's own mum is also his step mum )
You wouldn't even go there however nice he may be now his rehabilitated and found the Muslim faith a big help , even if the writers have forgotten this.

Anna is a really one dimensional character, very bland and nice but has no substance to her. I hated Gina at first but she has developed into someone who doesn't just do drugs and have strops.

Who is the Zoe that Cheissie and Sharon are talking about? I can't have been watching regularly at that point.

Zoe slater is Kats eldest girl.
They told Zoe she was Kat's sister at first as Kats parents brought her up. Kat was abused by her uncle and he is the dad. She was aged about 15 or so at the time , so a horrible storyline.
After having Zoe in a mother and baby unit somewhere , Kat also had another child ( Zoe's twin) but the nuns took him away for her and she didn't know for years she had that boy a she was so out of it apparently. They did find him in Ireland , but that was a spin off story called Redwater and he went on to be a priest or something ( I didn't watch it though )
Zoe was involved with killing off dirty Den with Chrissie n Sam Mitchell
The famous ' I am your muvver ' was uttered by Kat before a duf duf moment and became a legendary saying on EE
Zoe had no idea about any of it up to that point
