Not a spoiler at all but my guess is that Bernie comes back for the 40th anniversary to take out revenge on ' the six ' , but maybe it's wrapped up now and they will have to do something else instead

Yeap, Chrissie was charged with murder, she whacked Den over the head with the doggy doorstop. Actually I think someone else had a good go first but chrissie finished him off with the fatal blow. So it would be a life sentence but I guess she's coming up to the end of her tariff so neat timing that her former step daughter should turn up in the cell next door...

So, I'm a bit confused re the ending with Chrissie. So she seems to be bribing a prison officer (no doubt will be referred to as a screw in the next episode 😅) - did it imply what for?

He gave her a pack of cigarettes and she said ‘the money is on the table’ or something like that.

I thought that the prison officer left Chrissie some cigarettes? It was a quick scene though
I saw that report on prisons on bbc one the other night in Pentonville. Absolutely grim and chaotic, I'm sure the EE version won't be anything like it

Have been enjoying the Classic EE where Den is killed recently so looking forward to what is to come.
The whole story has gone a bit tits up and messy with the 6 so let's hope it improves
Interesting that they have actually almost copied the Chrissie/ Den murder story with Ken and whodunit and buried in the caff not the pub
It could have been done much better with the 6 turning on each other in the same way as the Chrissie/ Sam/Zoe story
I suspect Ls confession will be she killed Ken to save Sharon and a quick rap on the knuckles and its all done 🤔

Chrissie is only meant to be 4 years older than Sharon, 58 to Sharon's 54, in real life there's only 2 years between them (Tracey is 58, Letitia 56 according to wiki).
