I still find it odd that she can't forgive Kathy for pretending to be dead when she did the same thing.

Cindy only wants Ian when she thinks he's drifting away. Not that I blame her for not wanting a life of Ian Beale-ness, but it really didn't take long for her to take her yearning for excitement off the back burner.
