Trevor Eve doesn't look well in that promo.

What did you think of him on Jonathan Ross ?

LazyLinePainterJane · 09/04/2008 13:23

dustystar · 09/04/2008 13:24

Excellent. I love this program

hippipotami · 09/04/2008 15:56

Wonderful news IMO. I thought he did a marvellous job as Hughy Green on that BBC 4 program too.

RTKangaMummy · 10/04/2008 15:29

I did too

Yippee - the preview has also pushed me into finally buying Tin Drum on CD, had forgotten how blardy fantastic it was.

Trevor Eve has sadly slipped well down my 'old gimmers I would' list after his JR appearance - takes himself a bit too seriously for me. Even though JR is a knob, a little bit of humour would have been nice. Would do him in character though.

TOMORROW night

yippeee!!

I often want to slap Alison Graham but her "Superintendent Boyd goes to the supermarket" preview in this week's RT is laugh-out-loud funny.

LOL

Drama
Waking the Dead Monday 14 April
9:00pm - 10:00pm
BBC1 London & South East
1/12 - Missing Persons part 1
The barmiest detective series on TV returns with a new-look Peter Boyd (Trevor Eve), who seems to have lost a few pounds and got himself a decent haircut and a neat beard. He also has a lady friend, though things don't appear to be going too well, as he's about to drop her at the airport. "I'm gonna walk away now," she murmurs, "and nobody looks back." Poor Boyd. Never mind, he has his work to keep him occupied and fans of Waking the Dead's particular brand of overheated madness don't have to wait long before Boyd gets all overexcited, which means he SHOUTS A LOT FOR NO PARTICULAR REASON. In this opening story, which ends tomorrow, a woman resuscitates a mugger she's thrown onto a railway line. She vanishes before the police arrive, but Boyd and the team establish a link between her and a 1993 crime scene involving a burnt body in a storage container.
