Favourite serial killer/murdery drama?

Recently rewatched cracker and still loved it. Unfortunately wire in the blood doesn't seem to have aged well.

Any others? I used to love this genre but haven't kept up too much. I have seen Hannibal, Dexter, the sixth commandment amongst others.

The Following with Kevin Bacon is brilliant. I’ve just finished watching silent witness, loved it also.

Spiral, although I haven't seen all of them.

I loved one called Hinterland or something like that, set in Wales.

I’m currently rewatching Whitechapel, series 1 (Jack the Ripper copycat - that isn’t a spoiler btw).

It gets a bit silly in the last few episodes of the last series, but the rest are a great watch.

Also, worth a watch are Instinct with Alan Cumming and Prodigal Son with Michael Sheen in it. Both sadly cancelled after 2 seasons but a good watch nonetheless.

unforgotten - first three series v good.

Blacklist. Lots of murders, more about the who/why. Very well done.

Unforgotten is great, I have a wee soft spot for Sanjeev Bhaskar.

I just watched Bodkin, and it was pretty good. Bletchley Circle series 1 is great, too.

I'm a huge fangirl of Scully but it was like she was running between sets and thought "oh I'll just do Margaret again".
