Starting second thread as other is nearly full...

I think Mr. Poppy was better at audition. Weren’t there more props at his audition? I think it was a mistake to start with the three female singers that he did as well, they all sounded rather similar.

Yes Simon....because all the other acts were rubbish and boring !

Although to be fair, Mr Poppy is far closer to what I think the original acts on Britain’s got talent were like and what the show should really be all about, regular people doing something out of the ordinary really well. It shouldn’t be about all these professional and semi-professional acts sought out by the producers specifically for the purpose of appearing on the show.

Sydnie is obviously last so that she is remembered and goes through on public votes - don't think another singer should go through tonight tbh

The guy who dances in the water - someone on here said he looked like a little boy splashing in a puddle and I can't get it out my head

Agree I'd rather Teacher man goes through than scouted singer - isn't she a pro/semi pro or something

Course she's on last, also most nights have had 2 gold buzzer acts she's the only one tonight

Simon has obviously decided that he wants Mr Poppy to go through, which I think will influence lots of people (like me!) who are dithering around tonight because it’s the poorest of the semifinals so far and nothing really stands out.

Why can't they have normal people on not those with perfect bodies/over inflated lips

They know what they're doing with the act scheduling !

I want to see him move around the stage tonight, all he really did was stomp around in the puddle

Most of those so called 'perfect bodies' are paid for.. your never going to see their stretch marks etc

God they’re all awful tonight. This dancer is ok, but nothing we haven’t seen a million times before. Mr Poppy for the win.

Aw I think he’s sweet. It’s nice to see a sensitive young man wearing his heart on his sleeve (waistcoat?). So lovely what he said about his mum and feeling good about himself. That comes through in his performance and it also somehow not at all a self absorbed performance
