Looking for something to watch with DH over the next week or so, as he has a week off and we’re just mostly going to chill at home.

Ideally it would be something we could watch most of in 9 days, watching 2-3 hours a day. So probably 2/3 seasons?

Would prefer something light hearted or funny over something gripping but quality is more important really.

Things we’ve watched together and enjoyed:
Abbott Elementary
The Bear
Sugar
Parks and Rec
Kim’s Convenience
Schitt’s Creek
New Girl
The Office (US)
Bron/Broen
Trapped/Entrapped
The Killing

We’ve got a few streaming services already and would subscribe to one we don’t have for a month to watch something good as we’re saving money by not going away already.

Colin from Accounts?

Slow Horses (Apple TV)
Might as well watch Ted Lasso while you’re there.
On iPlayer there are the Strike novels as miniseries for each one, and a new Rebus series as well, while I’m thinking of crime drama.

Did you watch Fallout? That’s good, although like Rebus, just one series so far.

The Marvellous Mrs Maisel runs for several series and is great.

@iamsoshocked Funnily enough DH’s best friend is called Colin, and he is an accountant.

Slow Horses (Apple)
Only Murders In The Building (Disney)
The Good Place (Netflix)
Poker Face (Now TV only 1 series though)
Loads of free offers for Apple TV.

@CountingCrones
Fallout might work as we have enjoyed of other things Walton Goggins has been in (The Shield, Justified).

We’ve seen Ted Lasso and loved it.

I can’t stand Gary Oldman as he used to work with an ex of mine.

Someone else recently mentioned Rebus to me and we did used to live in Edinburgh. On the subject of Edinburgh, I never saw what the fuss was about with Harry Potter. I read the first one and was totally mystified. So any Rowling related doesn’t appeal.

The Marvellous Mrs Maisel is something we nearly watched when it first came out so it could be time to revisit it.

The Galbraith crime novels are a very different kettle of fish to JKR’s children’s books. DH didn’t rate Potter, loves Galbraith.

Ah, but in the tv series (comedy) Colin is a little cute doggie! Hopefully DH is not best friends with a Border Terrier!!

@AintNobodyHereButUsKittens

Loved the Good Place and Poker Face. DH loves OMITB, I liked the first season but keep falling asleep during later ones.
