No I think the last 2 episodes have been some of the best.

I haven't liked tham as much but i think that's cos it's a change from the normal formular. That said i was getting a bit bored with the whole - they argue about it, treat it, make them sicker, treat something else, argue about it etc story lines of last couple of series!

I love the wit of the programme and the relationship between House and Wilson is just classic but i kind of feel like it's searching to find it's feet a bit this series.

Still love it though

I take it he is going to get the other 3 back? They will all realise how much they love each other and return - I mean they're still obviously cast members.

PhoebenotBuffay · 04/04/2008 23:40

I love it. But then I have a thing for Hugh Laurie which is wrong when you think of him as Stuart Little's dad. This is what happens when you're a 30something parent and subjected to such films!

Why did Foreman have to have an attractive, tough, female boss? Were they delibrately trying to mimic House's posiion? Was it all too subtle for me?

twentypence · 05/04/2008 07:46

We're a few episode's ahead. Some are great, some are dire. I think it depends on the writer for each episode.

saltire · 05/04/2008 08:02

I do like it, I think hugh Laurie is fab, and the UK has I think lost him to the USA now. However I am just getting really fed up with all the stroylines involving various doctors all trying to outdo each other. I wish he would just hire them!

ellceeell - yes I think they were deliberately showing how Foreman's position mirrored House's. Do you remember that one of the huge problems Foreman had was that he felt he was turning into House (that great episode where he realises he has the same trainers as him!)but in the end he got fired by his boss for doing what House does all the time - taking risks, following his gut feeling - so it showed how unique House's situation and relationship with Cuddy is, iyswim.

I do like this series so far but wasn't quite sure of the point of the last episode overall. I think the writers need to bring Wilson back into the foreground a little bit because he and House have great chemistry (and I don't mean that in a sexual way!)

I watched this several times but it seemed to be the same episode each week so I gave up. It was like groundhog day!

ellceeell · 05/04/2008 09:46

thanks slayerette.
I like the old bloke who isn't really a doctor at all - and love that House spotted it and no-one else has!

TheArmadillo · 05/04/2008 10:27

I've seen this series and adored it.

I was beginning to get bored of the old formula.

I know who gets hired

TheArmadillo · 05/04/2008 10:28

Oh and Wilson is a lot better this series.

I think I finally understand why they are mates, Wilson is EVIL

A brilliant episode tonight in NZ. Hang in there.
