Black Box - French thriller - BBC iPlayer

This is in fact a film rather than a series, but thought I would mention it.

It is a straight forward story line about a bit of a nerdy investigator thinking his department (responisble for analysing Black Boxes after a plane crash) is not picking up on information recorded prior to a crash.

If you like techy style investigation, rather than police procedurals, might be something to fill a gap in your tv schedule!

More plausible than the first Departure IMO)

BBC Four - Black Box

An obsessive forensic analyst investigates the mysterious crash of a commercial airliner.

I watched that one too! Very enjoyable and nice to see a realistic main character, and no OTT acting.

no OTT acting

Yes - I think that was what I was trying to say.

Even some euro thrillers have all become a bit too clever by half. or have to have some quirky aspect.

It was enjoyable to watch something and have the plot evolve.
