Anybody watching? I’ve just caught up on the first two episodes. It’s not the kind of thing I normally watch but I’m enjoying it so far.

Didn't realise it was back, really enjoyed the men last year, will take a look later.

Yes have watched two and love it. Georgia is my favourite so far. Loved the guys last year too.

Yes, watching it with my teenager. Georgia my fave so far too. We watched the boy one last year too - very silly but entertaining. Looks like Amy might end up going home from this Kiss Off?

I really like Georgia as well. I’m assuming either Priya or Demi will be going home after this kiss off, depending on which one Naee chooses. I think Eva will match with Amy for now.

Amy annoyed us at first but now we think she's actually a bit eccentric and we like her.

There doesn’t really seem to be anyone for Amy because she likes the femme woman but they like the more masculine women. So maybe she’s bored!

She reminds me a bit of Tara Palmer-Tomkinson when she did reality tv

I wish we didn’t have to wait til Sundays for new episodes. In the mean time I’m watching the boys one.

Amy is a bit of an attention seeker but underneath she seems like a nice person,she just tries a bit too hard.

Amy has grown on me but I think I would struggle to be around her all day. The other women all seem to get on well with her though.

I feel sorry for the newer additions as well. It’s hard to connect with someone when most of them are already paired up.

I've just binged watched the first four episodes. I expected not to like Amy from the comments on here, but actually I do. I feel for Em who hasn't managed to pair up with anyone.

Why does Dannii Minogue stand so far away from them all the time though?

And when did "butch" change to "masc"?

I feel for Em as well. It’s got to be harder coming in later on in the show. She seems really nice as well but hopefully she’s enjoyed it regardless.

Butch is still used, though I guess not everybody will like it. I tend to associate butch with the far end of the masc spectrum, so masc encompasses more than butch does. The closest to butch on this show are Fiorenza and Em but I still wouldn’t describe either as butch unlike someone like Hannah Gadsby for example. Naee, Lisha, Eva, and Georgia are all more masc but I wouldn’t describe any of them as butch personally. Masc or stemme would fit most of them better.

I'm watching with my gay teenager, and she's very useful for explaining the lingo to me. She says that butch is now mostly used for older masc lesbians, and masc for younger ones like Fiorenza etc.

I don't think we ever used the term masc in the 80s and 90s when I was on the scene. I had a discussion with my DD few months ago about it, it led to a frustrating conversation about why do lesbians want to look like men? I couldn't really get through to her that it wasn't about that, though she is otherwise cool and has close friends who are lesbians but I think she just thought my views were old-fashioned!

I don't think it was right about lesbians being put first in the acronym because of AIDS, my understanding is it came before that in a general attempt to redress the balance in which men generally came first and possibly dates back to the 70s. It was just L&G then though, bisexuals were expected to pick a side in the circles I moved in.

Anyway, I'm finding it interesting, a couple of them really remind me of old friends (Fiorenza and Meg)!

Watched the latest 2 episodes last night.
Wish this series was soooo much longer than 10 episodes!!!

I'm really enjoying it but can't imagine any of them being couples after the show ends.

Just watched the final of this and loved the series. Amy was by far my favourite. She is eccentric, flamboyant and brilliant. Are we allowed to say what happened in the final? I don't want to give anything away to those who haven't seen it.

Plus she doesn't even know that person really! At least with Naae (sp?) they'd spent 24hrs per day together for a number of weeks, so whilst not very long, still a lot longer than with someone online in a different country!

Perhaps she just really wanted a green card??!!!

The reunion was great. Bizarre turn of events from Priya but Naae is so funny.

I didn't like Naee much right at the beginning, maybe she was just shy, but I felt she really came out (!) of herself during the series and she was one of my favourites towards the end.

Very happy for Meg too!

It struck me how isolated some of them seemed to be though in their lesbian experiences and how nice they found it to have a peer group.

Yes they did genuinely all seem to get on with each other. I loved that the two voted off for being the least likely to work are the only couple that actually stayed together😃.
