I can’t find a thread about This Town .Does that mean no one is watching it. I am from Birmingham so was hoping to see local land marks .
I like the characters and the acting is great. I am enjoying the music too. I nearly gave up after the first episode but it does get better.

We've seen three episodes so far and planning to watch the rest of them soon. I don't know Birmingham and Coventry at all.

Just watched the first one and am liking it enough to carry on but don't feel fully engaged yet.

We have watched three episodes so far and are hooked. Excellent characters and plot.

We watched it week by week on BBC1 so watched the last part last night. I really enjoyed it, the characters are great and are all flawed in their own way. Well worth watching

We really enjoyed it too

We just finished the last episode and I absolutely LOVED it. It did feel a bit convenient and unrealistic in that it managed to incorporate every possible dramatic strand of life in the midlands in the early 80s, but I don't really care about that. It's an era and an area I know well and it was so nice to see it portrayed with such warmth. And I thought (most of) the cast were fantastic, especially Gregory / Virgil, Dante and their dad. Really hope there's another series. So nice to see a something a bit different in a prime time show, not a detective or a hospital to be seen.
