What can I binge watch this week?

So, DH away all this week and I'm at home with 3 small kids. Therefore need something funny to binge watch in the evenings so that I don't lose my shit on a daily basis and go crazy. Something in the vein of Motherland, Schitts Creek, Working Moms, Fleabag - that sort of thing. Have seen so many series that will be amazed if you lovely ladies find something I haven't watched but here's hoping! Throw them at me....

Am I being unreasonable and Rain Dogs with Daisy May Cooper are good.
Also not particularly funny but I recently watched the Tv series of This Is England and it honestly blew me away with how good it is.

The Durrells

Ooh. Where are these? Think I've everything bar Apple TV! Thanks.

Not exactly like the ones you've suggested, but I binged The Diplomat (thrills/intrigue/jokes/sexual tension/Rufus Sewell in a suit) in a week.

More along your lines is Girls5Eva, a US sitcom on Netflix about a 90s girl band making a comeback after 20 years. It's got a 30 Rock kind of feel, and I raced though all 3 series in no time flat.

Was that the Keri Russell one? I hope there will be a second season. It felt like it was just hitting its stride as the season ended.

Yes, loved it. It's not game changing prestige telly but it was just what I fancied after a long day when I wanted something engrossing but not too heavy.

If you liked Fleabag, Feel Good and Catastrophe might be up your street.

There's not enough in that middle ground of "entertaining but doesn't require full concentration".

BollockstoThis1 · 27/04/2024 22:20

Catastrophe or anything with Sharon Hogan in, Hull raisers, Offspring, No Offence, Five Bedrooms.

RaisinforBeing · 27/04/2024 22:21

I recently binged Fleishmans in Trouble on Disney with Clare Danes.

Junibug · 28/04/2024 07:43

Thanks everyone! Loved The Letdown, Catastrophe and Colin from Accounts. A fair few you've all mentioned that I haven't heard off so will take a look....
