I think they are shouting " Bruuuunnoo" "Bruuuunnoo" type of thing ...but yes it does sound like booing .

He needs to stop trying to be funny I prefer mysterious magicians

Yes agree with pp. He was a good magician, but also funny which detracted from the magic somewhat imho.

I think he didn't need all the trying too hard to be funny, he's a good enough magician he doesn't need to and I felt it distracted from the magic as I wasn't finding him funny

I don't do funny so don't want it detracting from magic acts, I want to hang onto their every word, obviously Derren is a pro but I do with him, I don't think funny and magic go together bar the odd quip
