I often watch old auditions back on YouTube from the early 2010’s and the difference in talent, quality, judges reactions compared to today is extraordinary

1. sleight of hand means that one of them can write down the date (notice how one of them had his hand behind the blackboard) on a piece of paper and when he went to stab the balloon he dropped the paper from his sleeve. I once organised a charity event where people won prizes listed inside balloons and because paper weighs balloons Down so easily, we had to use tissue paper with a code on just so they’d stay up - and that was with helium in them! A big piece of paper like that wouldnt have been in the balloon as it would have sank to the floor when passed to Simon.
2. Someone is behind the scenes quickly in an editing suite while the choices are made for the ‘honeymoon’. Just clever video editing. Notice how they didn’t say the amounts or room numbers outside
