It says 'Previously.....'

I thought this was a new series - has it been on before?

It's all a bit too work-y for me.

(I work in a hospital)

KatyMac · 30/03/2008 21:28

DH has just informed me that
a) not only did I watch the last series
b) I raved about it
c) I may even have emailed the beeb to ask if there was going to be a new series

so my forgottery is obviously working overtime

Did anyone else think it was weird that a black and ethnic minority nurse was employed in a london hospital in 1907?

Having heard tales from older Nurses when working in London Hospitals, they tell me it was very difficult to be either a black or an Irish nurse up until the 80's.

This spoilt the credibility for me.

LaComtesse · 31/03/2008 16:31

I spotted that girl as well but maybe we're meant to overlook that and just see her as a nurse.

There was a very un-pc comment in the preview for next week. I'm surprised that even a period piece could get away with that these days.

Lacomtesse - even more worky for me - I used to work at the London! Mind you things had changed a bit by the time I got there....
