Just that really! I have 3 months free of Apple TV so working out what to prioritise 😵‍💫

I've just binge watched season 1, it's really good. Gary Oldman is brilliant in it

Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies · 13/04/2024 18:49

Absolutely.

The books are great, too.

PracticallyPerfectedIt · 13/04/2024 18:50

Yes! It's really good.

The After Party series 1 and 2 are both very good as well - pretty sure that's Apple TV.

The Morning Show is good too, although I got distracted and gave up halfway through the first series. I was enjoying it but had a tiny baby.

Oblomov24 · 13/04/2024 18:50

Was recommended to us. Watched episode 1. Not sure.

user1567879667589 · 13/04/2024 18:54

Yes. It’s brilliant. One of the best things we’ve watched in ages.

ConflictedCheetah · 13/04/2024 18:55

Yes. Unequivocally yes.

One of the best shows to come on any platform in years. And all seasons so far are good.

Noicant · 13/04/2024 18:56

Gary Oldman was brilliant, we enjoyed it. Severance is great too, but thats only on season 1.

MarkWithaC · 13/04/2024 18:57

Yes! It has the tension of a spy procedural but is very original, fresh and witty. Excellent cast and performances. Surprising and often shocking, but also often moving.

Sandsnake · 13/04/2024 18:58

It’s excellent. Ted Lasso is great too! Trying to get through them both and maybe Masters of the Air before our free trial expires!

DPotter · 13/04/2024 19:00

Yes - definitely!

Can't wait for season 4!!!!

BulbasaurusRex · 13/04/2024 19:09

Yes!

Also recommend:

Ted Lasso
Shrinking
For all mankind (madmen meets space race)
Foundation, if you like sci fi/Lee Pace 😄

ManchesterBeatrice · 13/04/2024 19:13

Thank you!

Yes! It's brilliant- gets better and better.

ViciousCurrentBun · 13/04/2024 19:41

Watch that and Ted Lasso, the Napoleon film is worth a watch if your in to war films as well.

menopausalmare · 13/04/2024 19:44

Absolutely loved slow horses. We watched all 3 series back to back, which is unusual for us. Gary Oldman is great and grotesque in equal measure.

menopausalmare · 13/04/2024 19:45

Is the Idris Elba Hijack on apple? If so, watch it!

BestIsWest · 13/04/2024 19:46

Yes!
Slow Horses
Ted Lasso
Hijack
Bad Sisters
The New Look.
All good, in that order.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 13/04/2024 19:47

We gave up after 2 episodes, can't believe the love for it on MN.

EventuallyDecluttered · 13/04/2024 19:48

Yes, it's superb, as are the books, I watched the first two seasons last year, re-started apple TV for a month just to watch season 3 and am now working my way through the audio books. I'm on no 7 and hoping they all make it to TV.

Duckinglunacy · 13/04/2024 19:48

Yes!! We loved it. I also really loved Ted Lasso, and we’ve just watched Masters of the Air which was a stressful watch but really well done (and based on true stories).

Apple TV has some good stuff - Shrinking was very funny, Harrison Ford was excellent. And I’m enjoying the weird Noel Fielding Dick Turpin thing.

DianaTaverner · 13/04/2024 19:49

In descending order of quality of the stuff I've watched and would recommend

Slow Horses
Ted Lasso
For All Mankind
Schmiggadoon! (If you like musicals)

Iudncuewbccgrcb · 13/04/2024 19:49

I couldn't pick which to prioritise between Ted Lasso and Slow Horses tbh. Both excellent.

I really liked Bad Sisters as well.

Morning Show was very relevant at time and is still a good drama but it will date quite quickly due to the US political / social aspects of what is discussed.

sheroku · 13/04/2024 19:50

I've just finished season 1 and only just realised from this thread that Lamb is Gary Oldman. Bloody hell! Brilliant acting. Definitely worth a watch.

cointos · 13/04/2024 19:50

It's not my usual type of program but I really enjoyed it.

MadelineWuntch · 13/04/2024 19:51

Yes it's brilliant, though I admit I wasn't sold after one episode. It warms up!

Black Bird is also excellent.
