Young Sheldon

Both DC have really enjoyed Young Sheldon, but are struggling to find something new. They're 12 and 9. If your preteen liked Young Sheldon, does anyone have suggestions for current or old shows they might like to try instead?

The Big bang Theory?

Not sure about your 9 year old but early teens loved The Middle, Modern Family, Brooklyn 99, Miranda, Vicar of Dibley (hasn't aged well in some places) and Superstore.

DS loved the Big Bang theory (he watched that first actually, then young sheldon and introduced DD to YS then). DD not so keen on BBT and I think it's a bit old for her anyway.

I should suggest Brooklyn 99 to DS. I loved it myself and he might enjoy it too. Modern Family - is that appropriate for a 9 year old? I will have to check but it could work.

Superstore?

Another vote for Brooklyn 99! We just finished it and have moved on to The Good Place.

Superstore and Brooklyn 99 are great shows but possibly too old in their humour for a 9, year old. Your 12 year old, fine.

10yo has just finished young Sheldon. She's watching Just add magic now and loves it.

Not sure if it would appeal to your 12yo boy though.

The Middle is good but Im not sure there's anywhere you can watch it

I don't think Modern Family is for a 9 year old

Ahe also liked the Artful Dodger on Disney plus.

We're gonna watch Renegade Nell next.

Where have you got the last series of Sheldon? Waiting on it! A little Light on Disney is very good and we liked Malcolm and Modern Family although a bit old at times but it was fine.

I've got last season of young Sheldon on my firestick but one episode is missing which is really annoying as we want to watch it

We bought the dvd of the last series on Ebay, pretty cheap, about £10 and absolutely worth it.

My son is 11 he loved young Sheldon.

He then watched The Big Bang Theory. He has also seen all seasons of Friends, Brooklyn 99, Superstore and next he will be starting Everybody Hates Chris.

Oh didn't realise it was available on dvd already. Thanks!
