Watched this last night. I’m still mystified about how the victim couldn’t believe her husband was trying to kill her, after the evidence from the police and parachute organisation. He tried to gas her while her children were in the house , then when this failed, tampered with her parachute. At the first trial, she withdrew her statement which supported the police showing he’d had the time and privacy to tamper with the parachute, and went back on her initial statement that her main parachute failed - she said she released it by mistake. How could she do that when it was not just her but her children at risk ? Can someone really get into your head that much you can’t believe the evidence against them from numerous independent sources ? Scary .
