I couldn’t find a thread on this but I’m watching it now. I love it. The interviewers remind me of my son’s friends, wonderfully random, open, warm, vulnerable and fun.

Michael Sheen seems like such a down to earth fella.

I came across this programme quite by chance on Friday night. It was the most uplifting, joyous thing I can remember watching.
Michael Sheen and every single other person in it was wonderful. As the daughter of Welsh parents, the rendition of Do Not Go Gentle had the tears streaming down my face.
A must watch!

We loved it too. In a way I’d like to see more episodes but I’m not sure you could match the perfection of this one, so funny, moving and inspiring. Tom Jones will forever be the long-term celebrity Tom Jones to me now!

Just brilliant, the song, the poem, the question about Dylan Thomas and how all the way through, he was referred to by lots of people as Michael Sheen (which reminds me of my sons friend who always called me ‘sons full name’s mum) then at the very end, a lady shook his hand and said ‘what’s your name’. Brilliant.

It was wonderful, wasn't it?

Absolutely fantastic programme - I’ve been trying to find a thread about it so am bumping this one!

It was astonishing! Uplifting, emotional and feelgood. Michael Sheen does a Masterclass in empathy, kindness and grace - I love him even more now - and can’t wait to see how many of the outstanding ND participants go on to get acting and presenting jobs off the back of this!

Just watched this now. What a great 30 mins of TV.
Michael Sheen was fab, kind and patient and came across so well. The song made me cry. Agree with a PP - it made me laugh how all the interviewers kept addressing him as 'Michael Sheen' and the lady at the end who asked who he was. I wonder if there will be more of these?
